WHEN?
Monday: 5pm till 6.15pm for 7 - 11 years olds.
Our youngest group work towards putting on performances featuring both scripted and improvised drama pieces
Monday: 6pm till 8.00pm
B-Tech Drama course. Run in partnership with Northern Theatre this provides the young people wanting to take drama and the performing arts to the next level with the opportunity to gain a qualification that will support their future aspirationsWednesday: 5pm till 6.45pm
This is our mixed ability group who work on short improvised and scripted pieces .The group meets at the Clubhouse Garden Village and have to date performed exerpts of James and Giant Peach and Blood Brothers, and performed their own improvised pieceThursday: 5pm till 7pm for 10 - 16 years olds.
This group focuses on Musical Theatre and have recently staged Bugsy Malone. The group will begin work on a new project very soonSaturday: 12.30pm till 1.30pm
Drama Taster sessions. These sessions provide new referrals to FRCA with the opportunity to become involved in workshops until spaces become available at the regular weekly evening sessions
WHAT?
We work on performances for events across the City as and when, and also work towards 2 big performances a year. One in Autumn and one in winter. We do improvised (made up) and scripted plays as well as joining in with the dance workshops to put on musicals once a year!
