FRCA appoint "Children in Need" Arts Worker

Freedom Road Creative Arts would like to announce that Lisa Billany has been offered and accepted the post of the "Children in Need" Arts Worker which will last for an initial 3 years. Lisa was interviewed by the Trusts' secretary, Kay Bolton and treasurer, Ian Wood and also by a panel of young people, Chiq, Jess, Garry and Sammy on Saturday 26th June at the RAPP office.

Lisa will work alongside Iain Thompson to plan and deliver weekly sessions in drama, musical theatre and singing as well as delivering the Arts Awards and the GCSE qualification.

Lisa has worked for FRCA for the past 2 years on projects such as Voltage and the Platform 2 Success Project and has developed a fantastic working relationship with the young people, and this is appointment will enable her to carry on with the inspiring work she has developed. Well done Lisa!
